Arsenal boss Unai Emery has said that there are no tensions with him and Mesut Ozil. The former Germany international missed Arsenal’s match against West Ham today due to illness according to Emery.

Emery said, “He was sick yesterday and we decided he shouldn’t play. He was sick and today he was here. I said today come if he feels better. And he feels better and he is here.”

Arsenal had a poor start to the West Ham game as they were behind after 25 minutes courtesy of a Marko Arnautovic goal. However, left-back Nacho Monreal equalized for the Gunners just 5 minutes later. Arsenal led for the first time this season thanks to an own goal from Issa Diop. Then, substitute Danny Welbeck gave a fine finishing touch to the game by scoring a third.

Arsenal are now 11th in the table and face Cardiff City next Sunday. Neil Warnock’s side drew against Huddersfield Town today.
