Van Gaal to be sacked after cup final
Jose Mourinho could be Manchester United’s manager as early as Monday, some reports are suggesting.
United could be about to sack Louis van Gaal, who, despite being about to lead the team into the FA Cup final this evening, has failed to deliver Champions League football this year which could see him sacked.
According to the Daily Mirror, United will be sacking Van Gaal regardless of the result against Crystal Palace today, and Mourinho will be in charge as early as Monday.
The report claims members of the dressing room have become frustrated by Van Gaal’s tactics and executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward is ready to wield the axe.
