PSV confirm contact with Manchester United
Manchester United have made formal enquiries about the availability of Memphis Depay, PSV have confirmed.
The Dutch winger has attracted interest from various clubs including Tottenham, Liverpool and Paris-Saint-Germain after breaking onto the scene at the World Cup in Brazil.
Depay, 21, has had an impressive season in the Eredivisie, becoming the league’s top goalscorer with 20 goals, helping PSV win the league title.

It is now understood that Manchester United have stole a march on potential suitors for Depay and have formally made an initial approach for the player, PSV techinical director Marcel Brands has revealed.
“We have had a telephone call from them about him,” Brands said on Dutch television.
“But no talks have been held yet. There are several top clubs who have expressed an interest.”
And he also insists that Depay will only be captured for a high price.
“It will be much higher than the offer from Tottenham Hotspur,” Brands added. “He will be very expensive.”
