Manchester United are set to add another world class player to their squad following ‘serious talks’ with Juventus over the Chilean international.
The Red Devils have been targeting Vidal all summer and so far have not been successful in the talks held between the two clubs, finally it seems there’s a break through after lengthy discussions a deal is close to being agreed.
Juventus are holding out for a fee of around £40million plus Javier Hernandez whereas United are keen to only pay £30million. Hernandez has been told to find a new club by new manager Van Gaal and is said to be extremely interested in a move to Juve.
Vidal has this summer insisted he’s happy to stay at Juve but close friends and family tell a different story and say he’s more than willing to head over to England and apply his trade for Manchester United having just signed Angel Di Maria from Real Madrid for a British record £59million.
Talks are now into the latter stages and Van Gaal is optimistic this deal will be done before the end of the week and the end of the transfer window.
