United target set to turn down a move and join Tottenham

Ryan Sessegnon set to turn down Manchester United and Liverpool to join Tottenham.

Tottenham lead the race to sign Fulham wonderkid Ryan Sessegnon with the teenager keen on working with Mauricio Pochettino.

The full-back is valued at around £50million by Fulham. He’s been compared to Gareth Bale for his marauding playing style and cultured left foot.

United and Liverpool have scouted Sessegnon on a number of occasions this term. They had been waiting to see if Fulham gain promotion before bidding for the teenager.

However, the wonderkid is said to favour a move to Tottenham because of Pochettino’s track record with young players and the club’s north London location.

Sessegnon has also minded that Manchester United have the likes of Alexis Sanchez and Luke Shaw in wide positions with the wonderkid capable of playing left-back and left wing.
