The Premier League giants eye transfer for next year

According to reports, Manchester United are interested in signing Olympique Lyonnais striker Nabil Fekir in the next summer transfer window.

Spanish media outlet Fichajes claim that Fekir would consider a move to Old Trafford next term, despite the 22-year old putting pen-to-paper on a five-year contract in July in order to commit his future to Lyon.

Fekir, who was the subject of rejected summer enquiries from Liverpool and Arsenal, has also represented France at international level.

‘This is a club of dreams’

When talking about his new deal at Lyon, Fekir said: “This was an easy decision for me to make, this is the club of my heart and I want to take it as high as possible.”

However, the centre forward didn’t rule out a potential move to the Red Devils some time in the future. He would be the second young and French attacking capture for United after the arrival of Anthony Martial from AS Monaco.

“Why not play one day in Manchester? This is a club of dreams,” he told reporters.

The 2014/15 Ligue 1 Young Player of the Year has started this campaign in hot form, scoring four goals and claiming one assist in just four matches.
