Monaco put price on the table
Manchester United have been told by Monaco that they must pay £25million to buy Fabinho.
Mourinho has been keeping his eye on the Brazilian full-back all summer, and is thought to be set to make a late swoop.
The French side are in no rush to sell the defender, but could be tempted if United were to table a bid of around £25million.
It’s thought that Fabinho was close to joining United’s arch-rivals Man City a couple of years ago, but City bailed on the deal after being told the £25m price tag,
A City source revealed: “He was flown into Manchester two seasons ago by City and stayed at Radisson Blu Hotel.
“He spent less than 24 hours in town and watched a game. City backed off after being quoted £25m.
“Monaco had recently paid £4m for him and player was really keen on the move to Etihad.”
