Reports in Spain have said that Falcao will make his Manchester United move permanent but United say that they will wait till April to make their move.
Falcao has scored three goals so far for United and they want to wait and see how his performances are throughout the season before deciding to sign him.
United are also interested in Everton full-back Seamus Coleman and will compete with Chelsea to sign the £30 million rated Irishman in the summer.
