With Chelsea only able to secure one trophy this season, there are calls for a re-bolstering of the squad and this summer will be a very busy time for Jose Mourinho.

It is expected that the three Chelsea strikers, Demba Ba, Samuel Eto’o and Fernando Torres will leave at the end of the campaign, with ba and Torres being sold and Eto’o departing with the end of his contract.

Other big names at Chelsea could be seeing the exit to raise funds for other transfers such as David Luiz, who has been heavily linked with a number of European clubs this season, Ramires, John Obi Mikel and Victor Moses have also been named on the outgoing list.

England veteran Ashley Cole is expected to move elsewhere on a free transfer although Frank Lampard and John Terry are both expected to stay.

On loan Romelu Lukaku wants to return to Chelsea but may be sold to Tottenham to fund the purchase of strikers such as Diego Costa.

Then there are other players who haven’t quite made the grade at Stamford Bridge and will likely leave such as Marko Marin, Oriol Romeu, Gael Kakuta, Josh McEachran, Hilario and Sam Hutchinson.

Mourinho will hope that these sales will be pivital in transforming Chelsea into a side that will stand a better chance of winning silverware next term.
