The Spaniard has yet to feature for Manchester United this season. Klopp is rumoured to be looking for a replacement for Simon Mignolet who has yet to prove himself. Mignolet has only kept 4 clean sheets this season after playing 16 games. This means the keeper keeps 1 clean every 4 games.
Valdes was of course one of the main stays of the Barcelona side until the recent years where he has been pushed out after poor form. He joined Manchester United for free and was looking to replace De Gea if he went to Real Madrid.
