Mark van Bommel wants his former PSV Eindhoven teammate Arjen Robben to reunite with him at his former club.

The 34-year-old Dutch winger has confirmed that this will be his last season at Bayern Munich.

PSV Eindhoven manager Mark van Bommel is looking to make a move for his former teammate Arjen Robben and reunite with him at the Eredivisie outfit. The 34-year-old winger has already announced that this season is his last one with the Bundesliga giants and is plotting his life after he leaves the Allianz Arena.

The former Dutch international, who announced his retirement last year after his national team was not able to qualify for the World Cup 2018, has been an integral part of the Bayern Munich setup since his move to the Bundesliga club from Real Madrid in 2009. Though he is yet to declare anything about his future after he leaves the German giants, his former club PSV Eindhoven has reportedly contacted him to rejoin them and reunite with his former teammate at PSV and Bayern, Mark van Bommel in the next season.

PSV’s general manager Toon Gerbrands has revealed that van Bommel has been in touch with his former Netherlands teammate over a move to the Eredivisie giants. He said, “There has been contact. Mark, who played with Arjen, sent him a message.” He also added, “It is, of course, up to Arjen to make the decision.”

Robben spent only two seasons at PSV after a move from Groningen and later on he moved to the Premier League with Chelsea. He went onto join Real Madrid later on, whom he left for Bayern Munich.
