The Reds put five past the Gunners in the match with Roberto Firmino notching up a hat-trick while Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane scored one goal apiece. Arsenal took the early momentum with the opening goal but after that, it was Liverpool all the way.
The Dutch defensive ace said, “We were almost perfect. We conceded the goal. That was the only thing,” said Van Dijk. “But it was an important win. We have finished 2018 now pretty well, and hopefully we can keep that going.”
