Van Gaal is desperate to sign Robben from Bayern Munich, according to former Dutch international Bryan Roy. Roy said ‘ I think Louis wants him desperately to come to Manchester United. Bayern Munich is a big club and he is very happy there but you never know. With football anyhting is possible’
The 30 year old Dutch winger has impressed during the world cup, playing vital roles in the Netherlands’ three wins. He has also scored 56 goals in his 5 years at Bayerm Munich. If the deal happens Manchester United fans would be looking forward to seeing Robben link up with fellow Dutch international Robin Van Persie. Which promises to be a deadly partnership.
