Chelsea midfielder Marco Van Ginkel has warned Chelsea that he will leave the club this summer if he fails to get a first team chance, according to the Metro.
The Dutchman has slipped further down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge, with the Blues signing the midfield duo of Nemanja Matic and Cesc Fabregas recently.
21 year old Van Ginkel suffered a serious knee injury which ended his season in a League Cup game at Swindon last September.
However he has recently recovered, and through his agent, stated that a move could be on the cards.
‘We are in talks with Chelsea. Of course Marco wants to fight for his chance, but there must be some perspective,’ Karel Jansen told AD.nl.
‘We are waiting for a response from Chelsea as to how they see things.’
