Former Premier League striker Bothroyd expressed his intense distaste for the “very overrated” Dutchman in an idle chat. I don’t believe anyone has given the Dutchman a high rating since he joined Liverpool.
“I don’t like Gakpo at all; I think he’s very overrated and hasn’t done nearly enough for Liverpool.” Bothroyd addressed on The Optus Sport Football Podcast.
“I believe he’s one of those players who, to the extent that Klopp uses him at left-wing, right-wing, in the hole, number nine, and he doesn’t really perform anywhere really well on a consistent basis, you don’t really know what position he is.” Bothroyd mentioned.
