Man United have been handed a huge boost in their pursuit of Arturo Vidal, after the midfielder was backed to leave Juventus in January. The Chile international was a target for Louis Van Gaal all summer but the Dutchman never managed to sign him.
The United boss still has Vidal as his number one target and come January time, a deal could very well happen now.
Ex-Juve player Nicola Amoruso has told Tuttomercatoweb that he feels the 27-year old should now quit Serie A because he feels Vidal has come to the end of the road in Turin. He said: “It seems to me that there will soon be a split [between Vidal and Juventus].
“He is a player of value, but he needs to go and compete in other leagues.”
