During this weekends game against Arsenal, Vidic was forced to leave the pitch after being knocked out by his own keeper David De Gea.
“Nemanja Vidic has been released from hospital after suffering concussion,” said a Manchester United statement.
Man Utd’s next game is not until the 24th November, when the team play Cardiff.
However the Serbian defender will have to prove to the United medical staff that he will be ready to go in time for their next game.
This story only increases concern over head injuries, and only time will tell if extra cautions are put into effect to stop these kind of head injuries from happening.
