Manchester City defender Vincent Kompany has been ruled out for up to a month after picking up a thigh injury during Saturday’s victory over Everton.
The City captain had to be withdrawn during the first-half of the game after picking up a knock to his thigh and straight away it was clear that the Belgium couldn’t continue.
On Sunday, the club sent Kompany to get scans and the initial fears came true that the defender would miss up to four weeks of action, including the clash with title-rivals Chelsea.
