Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney has taken to Twitter to give his opinion on the incident that took place during their clash with Cardiff City yesterday evening.
In the first-half, with the game at 0-0, Rooney lashed out at Cardiff player, Jordon Mutch, and kicked him in the back of his leg, much like the striker did for England against Montenegro just before Euro 2012.
On that occasion, the 28-year-old received a straight red, but this time, he was only given a yellow card and after the game, he took to Twitter to give his thoughts on the incident.
“Just watched game back. I agree mine was bad tackle and ref dealt with it,” Rooney tweeted.
