Manchester United have suffered an injury blow ahead of their crunch game with Liverpool on Sunday as striker Wayne Rooney has picked up a head injury in training.
The Englishman took a serious blow to the head in training today and left Carrington early with heavy bandages wrapped around his cranium, due to the injuries.
Despite having the injury, Rooney is determined to play after his impressive performance on Monday night against Chelsea, but it is down to the United medical staff tomorrow as to whether or not they play the 27-year-old.
