Midfielder states players are fully behind Special One

Chelsea star Ramires has confirmed that the players still trust Jose Mourinho and back him to turn around their fortunes after a poor start to the 2015/2016 campaign.

The Blues have won just two Premier League games so far this season, against West Bromwich Albion and Arsenal, but due to four losses in the same competition, they find themselves 16th in the league.

Just months after winning the title, pressure is already on Mourinho for the slow start, with some reports saying Roman Abramovich was close to sacking him earlier in the season.

However, since then, the Russian owner has backed Mourinho to turn the season around, and Ramires has followed suit by revealing the players still trust and back the Special One.

Players Trust Mourinho

Ramires said: “We’ve not lost a bit of trust in Jose. Everyone trusts him. We think he is the best manager for us.

“Obviously when things don’t go the way that everyone expects a lot of questions are asked. But we still trust him.

“I understand perfectly where he is coming from with what he said regarding where, if he didn’t have the confidence of the players he would step aside. But that’s not the case at all. We are all together.

“Maybe it’s a shared guilt because when things don’t got the way that everyone expects people look at the players and the manager. But we are all working together to get out of this situation – we want to be at the top of the table. Not the bottom.”
