Arsene Wenger has given his most definitive answer to date on his Arsenal future, insisting that he WILL still be manager next season. The Frenchman is yet to sign a new two-year deal which has been on offer to him for several months.

Wenger’s current deal expires in summer but when asked if he would be staying at Arsenal he replied: “Yes, you’re not getting rid of me just yet.”

The Gunners board and the manager himself have both insisted terms have already been agreed but that they are waiting until after the FA Cup final on May 17th to officially put pen to paper.

Wenger also claimed that he hoped Bacary Sagna, who has strongly suggested he will be leaving the club, will stay on at Arsenal with him. He said;

“I want Sagna to stay. If it was down to me, him and Lukasz Fabianski would both stay.”

However, the Gunners boss has confirmed that Kim Kallstrom will be leaving the club when his loan deal expires at the end of the season, saying: “Kallstrom belongs to Moscow and will go back to Moscow.”
