Alexis Sanchez was persuaded to move to Arsenal after Arsene Wenger payed him a surprise visit whilst on international duty in Brazil. The forward has been linked with many clubs since he began contemplating a move from Barcelona. He was most heavily linked with Juventus, in Italy, where he used to play, for Udinese, before rumors of him being involved in a potential Liverpool move to aid in luring Luis Suarez to spain.
His preference is now with the gunners after being assured he would have no problems adapting to the British game. His rumored contract is promising a pay similar to the likes of Ozil, in excess of £100,000 a week. The winger is now most likely on his way to the London club barring any late twists.
