Baggies go in for Schneiderlin
West Brom have reportedly made a bid for Manchester United star Morgan Scheiderlin.
Schneiderlin has had a nightmare time at United since joining in summer 2015, and is not in the picture of Jose Mourinho’s team.
He’s looking for a way out of the club, and West Brom are thought to have made an £18million bid, according to Sky Sports.
Everton are also thought to be interested in the midfielder, and could make a move when the transfer window opens in just over a weeks time.
Speaking in an interview on Wednesday, manager Mourinho admitted he was uncomfortable having failed to give some members of his squad a fair chance to prove themselves.
“I still have bad feelings towards myself as I didn’t give a real chance to everyone,” the Portuguese coach said.
“There are some positions in our sport where we have over-booking.”
Scheiderlin hasn’t played for United in over a month since their 1-1 draw at home to Arsenal. His time at the club looks set to end.
