Saido Berahino has been heavily linked with a £23m move to Liverpool within the past week.
Tottenham have also been reported as interested in the forward however it appears as though the majority of reports linked the West Brom man with an Anfield switch.
And now the club have used their Twitter account to falsify any claims that the England international will move in January.
They posted a tweet earlier today which read: “Ok time to clear a few things up. One final time, this Berahino to @LFC story for £23m is and always has been entire fabrication…”
The news comes just a day after news broke that Baggies manager Alan Irvine has left the club, with Tony Pulis and Tim Sherwood favourites to take over at the Hawthornes.
Whoever West Brom choose to appoint, it appears as though they will have Berahino in their squad for the rest of the season.
