Tony Pulis will sit with striker over dinner to discuss future

West Bromwich Albion manager Tony Pulis will sit down with want-away striker Saido Berahino to hold talks regarding his future.

The England youngster has been away from the club for the past week on leave after the club granted his request following the controversial transfer deadline day.

The Baggies rejected FIVE offers from Tottenham Hotspur for Berahino throughout the summer, with three coming on deadline day.

Berahino reacted badly and took to Twitter to state he will never play for the club again for how they treated him during the transfer window.

The next day it was reported that Pulis was livid with how the club dealt with the matter as he wanted to cash in on the striker, but he is now set to hold talks with him in order to discuss the future.

Pulis Reveals Talks

The 22-year-old has returned to the club today and Pulis has confirmed that he will chat with him throughout the day before taking him and his Mum out for a meal in the evening in order to discuss things further.

“I have spoken to Saido on the phone a couple of times and by text,” Pulis said.

“He has had a couple of days away and hopefully that will clear his mind.

“On Monday I will have a good chat with him and then take him and his mum out for dinner in the evening to have a good chat,” he added.
