West Ham United are interested in signing Tottenham Hotspur outcast, Emmanuel Adebayor.

The Togo international has struggled for first-team football due to the development of Harry Kane this season, and he is now wanting out of White Hart Lane in order to play regular first-team football.

According to reports, West Ham were close to signing Adebayor in January on a season-long loan, but Spurs chairman Daniel Levy cancelled the deal due to fears that their London rivals could be serious Europe contenders.

At the time of the market, Sam Allardyce’s men were in the fight for Europe but have since fallen away due to several injuries and poor results.

The 31-year-old is desperate to leave Spurs but is wanting to stay in London, so a move to West Ham could happen over the Summer.

A potential stumbling block however may be the striker’s wage demands as he currently sits on ÂŁ100k-a-week.
