TBR Football claims that Raheem Sterling’s transfer from Chelsea is still being considered for this summer. Despite Sterling being signed by the current team, the Blues administration has made it apparent to him in recent months that they do not have long-term ambitions for him. But Sterling, one of the first team’s highest-paid players, isn’t in a rush to go. In recent months, Turkey and the Saudi Pro League have both made offers to Sterling that he has declined.

Although Sterling has not played at his best since leaving Manchester City for Chelsea nearly two years ago, some Blues supporters may be worried about losing an experienced player in Sterling given the team’s disproportionately youthful roster.

West Ham is reportedly about to make a bid for Sterling, who has already turned off interest from the Saudi Pro League because he wants to remain in London. The former Manchester City player may now get the opportunity to achieve that thanks to the Hammers, so this seems like the type of transfer that may work out well for everyone.

The 29-year-old still has a lot of fans, one of whom happens to be a Hammer right now. Following their matchup from the previous season, Michail Antonio praised Sterling highly, calling him “unreal.” Antonio expressed his admiration for the former Manchester City winger in an interview with BBC Sport’s Footballer’s Football podcast.
