West Ham United Set To Finalise Transfer Of Teenage Benifica Winger

West Ham United are reportedly very close to signing Benfica winger, Mesaque Dju.

According to Italian transfer expert, Alfredo Pedulla, the 19-year-old’s signing can be confirmed by the Hammers by today itself.

Dju’s is a highly rated young talent to come out of the Primera Liga. He has made appearances at all age levels up till the U20s of the Portugal national side.

He is naturally skilled with the ball and has an electric run of pace under his boots. The teenager has developed a prime attacker who can play from either side of the pitch. He recently got called up to represent Benfica’s reserve team, making 8 appearances for the Portuguese outfit’s B Team.

Dju has scored twice so far this season, once in the UEFA Youth League and once in the Portuguese second division, Ledman Liga Pro. He could become the 11 signing for the Hammers under the management of Manuel Pellegrini.

The Chilean boss has arrived at the London Stadium and has turned West Ham’s early season misfortunes around. The Irons are now 10th in the Premier League with 7th placed Watford simply 2 points ahead.

They did get knocked out of the FA Cup last night with a 4-2 defeat against AFC Wimbledon.
