Agent of striker admits future is uncertain
Manchester City striker Wilfried Bony faces an uncertain future but won’t be leaving the club in this window, according to his agent.
The Ivorian international arrived at the Etihad Stadium this time last year after City agreed to pay Swansea City £25million for the target-man.
However, his career has since stalled due to the lack of game-time, and being number-two to Sergio Aguero has effected his career in a negative manner.
After hearing about transfer speculation, Bony‘s agent Francis Kacou, confirmed that no move is likely to happen this window, but they will get together and think about their options over the summer.
Bony Could Leave
“Wilfried Bony will stay at Manchester City,” Kacou said.
“Everything else is just rumours. A departure this winter was never on the cards. Manchester City have quite simply no intention of selling.
“He has often been injured since he arrived at the club, but he has still scored 8 goals this season. We will see what happens next.
“This summer, the player and I, will make our position clear.”
