Brazilian tells club he’s ready to sign new deal
Chelsea have received some positive news off the pitch as Willian has told club officials he’s ready to sign a new contract at Stamford Bridge.
The Brazilian has been in red-hot form so far this season for the Blues and he’s reportedly ready to show his commitment to the club by penning a new deal.
The 27-year-old has carried Chelsea through a tough season, scoring eight goals and getting six assists for the team, and despite the troubles on the field, he’s ready to commit himself to the club for the foreseeable future.
Willian‘s stand-out performances had linked him with a shock move away from the Premier League champions, but he has recently told reporters that he’s happy at Stamford Bridge and is now ready to sign a new deal.
Willian Happy at Chelsea
“It was always my dream to come here when I was playing in Ukraine the realisation of a dream. I want to stay.
“But at the same time my head is calm I am just going to see how things go. I’m happy.
“I tend to not get involved in that side of things too much.
“I leave it up to my agent to deal with it but the club knows exactly how I feel.”
Willian has two-years left on his current deal.
