Willian says whilst he respects Antonio Conte’s decision to keep him benched… He is not exactly happy with it.

The Brazilian has only started just 12 games under Conte.

Willian has discussed losing his place to Pedro at Stamford Bridge, claiming he respects Conte’s decision – but he doesn’t like it.

“It would be more or less that [becoming a reserve]. Of course, no player likes to start the game on the bench,” he told Brazilian outlet Globoesporte.

“To be honest, I do not like it either. I like to be playing forever.

“But of course we have to respect the decision of the coach, you have to respect your team-mate who is playing.

“And when the opportunity comes, you have to try to do your best.

“This is what I have been doing, respecting the coach’s decision and when I enter, I try to do my best to help Chelsea.”
