Willian has said it will be sad to see Oscar leave Stamford Bridge

Oscar completed his move to the Chinese Super League last week, joining club Shanghai SIPG in a deal worth a whopping £60million.

He will join up with his new team once the transfer window opens on January 1, joining fellow Brazil star Hulk at the club.

However, Willian has admitted he will be sad to see the 25-year-old leave Stamford Bridge.

The Brazilian was part of the 2014/15 Premier League-winning side and also lifted the Europa League title in the 2012/13 campaign.

However, since then he apparently has ‘fallen out of favour’ with Antonio Conte since the Italian joined the club,

and he only made five Premier League starts this season, which helped him in the decision to make the move

“Oscar is a very good friend and I’m very sad to see him leave, but he’s happy so I’m happy,” Willian said.

“He’s going to play in China so I just want to wish him the best of luck. We will keep in touch, it doesn’t matter if he’s in China and I’m here.

“When I first arrived he helped me a lot, no doubt about that, so I want to say thank you to him for everything he did for me.”
