West Ham United have announced that Winston Reid has signed a new long-term deal at the club, snubbing interest from Premier League giants.
The New Zealand centre-back has been scouted and tracked by Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur for the majority of the season, but today the club announced that a new SIX-YEAR deal has been signed.
Reid’s contract was set to expire in the Summer, making him a free agent to move elsewhere, and even Sam Allardyce confirmed that he would be leaving the club.
However, the defender has made a U-turn with his decision and has now penned a new six-year deal.
It’s believed the contract is worth around ÂŁ65k-a-week.
