Wolves are travelling to Craven Cottage to face Fulham in their Premier League Boxing Day fixture.

While the Wanderers might be 15 points ahead of their London rivals in the points table this season, they are still aware of what Fulham can do to them while at home.

Just last season, during a very dominating run in the EFL Championship, Nuno Espirito Santo’s men were beaten 2-0 by the Cottagers. Aleksander Mitrovic performed to his level best and Wolves had no answers for the title contenders.

However, in the English top-flight Fulham has struggled to maintain their previous season form, stationed at the very bottom of the table despite spending over ÂŁ100m last summer. The Lillywhites chose to go with a managerial switch but Claudio Ranieri is yet to make his presence felt at West London.

Fulham have collected two league wins this season and are coming off a 0-0 draw against Newcastle United.

Speaking to the press, Wolves winger Ivan Cavaleiro said, “They can certainly be dangerous because every Premier League side, just like in the Championship, is tough. Fulham have a very good side, but unfortunately, they haven’t managed to win many games yet.”

“I think it’ll be a great game against a good side and we’re expecting it to be tough. I think it’s a good fixture for us which we’re motivated for, while always respecting our opponents. We want to go there and get the win. I think our aim has to be step by step and regardless of who we’re facing, we want to win.”
