Wilshere’s contract is set to expire at the end of the season

Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere is most likely to see out his remaining contract which expires at the end of the season and leave the club on a free transfer. The negotiations between the club and player seems to reach a dead end.

Wilshere has made clear that his preferred option is to stay at his boyhood club but that seems unlikely. Arsenal have offered him £90,000-a-week, which is a pay-cut on his current deal worth £110,000-a-week and are insistent they will not budge on the offer.

The 26 year spent last season on loan at Bournemouth and was told by Arsene Wenger himself that he could leave the club if he wants to.

Everton, Liverpool, Manchester City, Juventus and AC Milan are monitoring his situation ahead of the summer transfer window. And another surprising club has joined the race for the England International.

Newly promoted Wolves are prepared to move for Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere, claims the Mirror. The Championship side are hoping to seal an ambitious move for the player as they begin life in the Premier League next season.

With their star player Ruben Neves linked with a move to elite Premier League clubs, signing Wilshere on a free transfer would be a huge statement signing.
