Cristiano Ronaldo is set to be fit for the World Cup finals after partaking in a full training session.
The 29 year old winger was a severe doubt for Portugal’s opening fixture against Germany in Salvador, after suffering a knee injury.
Ronaldo enjoyed another fine season at Madrid, netting 31 times in the La Liga campaign.
The Portuguese captain also helped Madrid to a first European Cup win for 12 years, following a 4-1win over Atletico Madrid in Lisbon.
However, Portugal had concerns over the player recent injury problems he suffered.
The FPF statement read: “Cristiano Ronaldo and Raul Meireles integrated with the remaining group of players.”
Portugal will fly out to Brazil this evening, following the conclusion of a New York training camp.
