Xavi has hailed the talent of Santi Cazorla and David Silva, admitting he would love to see the duo at the Nou Camp.
The two attacking midfielders have been key players for their respective clubs this season, with Silva registering six goals and two assists and Cazorla, five goals and four assists.
Cazorla was the standout figure as Arsenal shocked champions Manchester City to win 2-0 at the Etihad on Sunday, with the midfielder scoring one and setting up Olivier Giroud for the other.
And Xavi, who has played alongside the duo for Spain, feels both would settle well at the Catalan club. he told AS: “Silva [and] Cazorla… there is some great current talent in Spanish football who I’d sign for Barcelona.”
Silva and Xavi may be playing against each other in February as City were drawn Barcelona in the Champions League and though his side were comfortable 4-1 winners on aggregate last year, the 34 year-old has remained adament that it will not be an easy tie.
He added: “All the ties are complicated; our matches against Manchester City will be very difficult.”
