Yaya Toure reveals it would be “an honour” to wear the PSG strip as speculation over the midfielder’s future at the Etihad remains uncertain.

The 31 year-old’s agent revealed that his client was unhappy with the failure of his club to adequately celebrate his birthday.

Toure himself backed up these claims and said that he will make a decision regarding his future after the world cup, but he has recently admitted interest in the Ligue 1 champions, PSG.

“When I think about objectives of Paris Saint-Germain, how can you not be interested in a club like that?” he told France Football.

“PSG have become a European power. It’d be an honour to be part of such a club one day… if I can be of use.”

Toure was the key player is Manchester City’s title victory last season and impressed with 20 goals and 9 assists in the league.

The former Barcelona man, who won the Champions League during his time at the Camp Nou, was nominated for the Player of the Year award but narrowly lost out to Liverpool’s Luis Suarez.
