Yohan Cabaye has claimed there has been no contact between him and PSG over a possible move in the January transfer window. Cabaye who scored the winner against Manchester United at the weekend, was linked with a move away in the summer and was subject to a bud from Arsenal.

Newcastle fans and the team will not appreciate the renewed speculation in one of their key players. They have been in good form in the Premier League and will not want to lose someone who is pivotal to their form.

Cabaye however did not play down his interest in joining PSG. “As far as I know, there has been no contact with Paris St Germain.

“Who wouldn’t want to join PSG today? Paris make other teams afraid in Europe, more so than last season. I really hope they win the Champions League.”

Laurent Blanc also suggested there may be interest, however he claims they are interest in every good player he could benefit his team.

With the January transfer window fast approaching Newcastle will hope to keep hold of Cabaye, for the rest of the season and continue their good form.
