Graeme Souness has made an outrageous claim on the future of Wilfried Zaha. According to the Sky Sports pundit, The Crystal Palace forward would be a perfect fit for Real Madrid.
Zaha had a breakthrough last season as he helped the London giants from getting dropped to the Championship. Opposition defenders often found difficulties in dealing with his sheer pace and dribbling skills the last term as he led the charge for the Eagles.
Zaha’s future had been the subject of speculation as a number of clubs were courting his signing but he rejected all the claims by extending his stay at Selhurst Park as he put pen to paper to a brand new five year deal.
Souness believes Zaha belongs to the limited class of players who are capable of donning the Madrid shirt. ‘I think he is sensational. You might laugh at this, but I can see him playing for Real Madrid, that’s how good he is.
‘There’s only a handful of players, even outside the Premier League that have got his kind of ability.
‘His change of direction and the balance he has got is quite unique and I think that is why he gets fouled and should get more penalties than he does. I don’t see him as a diver and I think he has got quite a unique talent.
