It seems like Gareth Bale might be on his way out of Real Madrid as Zinedine Zidane dropped him for the club’s match against Real Sociedad. Real’s hopes of ending the La Liga in the top two came to an end as they lost to Sociedad 3-1.

When asked if Bale was fit to play against Real Betis, Zidane replied, “Yes. I do not know if he will play [against Real Betis]. We’ll see next week. It’s very clear what I’ve done this weekend. Now we have another game and then we will see next year. It is done.”

Gareth Bale has been an integral part of Real Madrid since joining the club in 2014 on a then world-record transfer fee. The Welshman has scored 102 goals and has provided 64 assists in 231 matches across all competitions.

This season, Bale has made 42 appearances for Real, scoring 14 goals and providing 6 assists. There have been several reports suggesting that Bale might leave Real and given the possibility of Eden Hazard arriving at the club next summer, it seems highly probable that Bale might leave.
