Paris Saint Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has claimed that he doesn’t need the Ballon d’Or award to know that he is the best player in the world.
The Swedish striker is known to have confidence in abundance and he has been shortlisted for the award, but is considered to be behind Real Madrid’ Cristiano Ronalo and Bayern Munich midfielder Franck Ribery.
The 32-year-old was in action last night for PSG and after the game, he had this to say about the Ballon d’Or.
‘I don’t need the Ballon d’Or to know that I’m the best.’
‘It seems very important for other players, but for me it’s not important,’ said Ibrahimovic.
‘I know what I feel about myself and I know what I think about myself, that is most important.’
