Jose Mourinho wants super Swede at Old Trafford

Jose Mourinho wants to sign Zlatan Ibrahimovic for Manchester United should he get the job at Old Trafford.

The Portuguese is heavily linked with replacing Louis van Gaal at United at the end of the current season, and should that happen, he wants to lure the Paris Saint-Germain striker over to the Premier League for the first time in his career.

Van Gaal has been under severe pressure from fans of the club, who are fed up with his boring tactics and below-par results, which could see him leave the club one-year earlier than planned.

Should Van Gaal leave, he will be replaced by Mourinho, who was sacked by Chelsea back in December, and according to today’s reports, he wants to bring Ibrahimovic with him.

The Swede has just a few months left on his contract in Paris, and is heavily expected to leave the club in order for another challenge before he retires.

Ibra to United?

As of yet he doesn’t know where his future lies, but Mourinho is desperate to get him to Old Trafford along with him ahead of next season.

United have struggled for goals this season, with just two first-team strikers at their disposal, and Mourinho wants to put that right as soon as he arrives.

Mourinho and Ibrahimovic worked with each other in Italy during their Inter Milan days, and it’s believed they still share a strong relationship, with the duo texting each other on a regular basis.
