Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been reported to be considering putting pen to paper on a new deal with PSG.
The world class striker is out of contract in the summer, and has in the past aired his views on staying at the French club as negative, saying jokingly that he would only stay if PSG replaced the Eiffel Tower with a statue of him.
It has been common knowledge for a while that Manchester United were keen on signing the Sweden International.
However, Media outlet Tuttomercatoweb are claiming that Ibrahimovic is considering putting pen to paper on a new one-year deal at PSG, before moving out to a probable big money move to Qatar.
It had been said that Manchester United were planning to tempt Ibrahimovic with a two-year deal worth £250,000-a-week while newly signed frontman Anthony Martial aired his pleasure on potentially playing with him.
“It would be nice to play alongside him,” Martial said. “He is an extraordinary player — he won almost everything.”
This recent turn in events will no doubt disappoint any United fans who were looking forward to seeing him in the Red Jersey.
