Ibrahimovic says ‘anything can happen this Summer’

Chelsea’s hopes of signing PSG striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic have been boosted, after the Swede ruled out a return to AC Milan.

The Sweden national team captain admitted that “anything can happen” this summer, amid reports he is unhappy in the French capital.

Chelsea are reportedly the front runners to sign the 33 year old, who has never before played in the Premier League.

Ibrahimovic is great friends with Jose Mourinho

Having dismissed rumours of joining AC Milan, Chelsea fans will be optimistic that the talisman will start next season at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues had reportedly held talks with Zlatan’s representatives over a deal.

This is what Ibrahimovic had to say regarding his future.

Ibra Says No To Milan

“My return to Milan? It is the media that they’re talking about. But there’s nothing behind. I am a player of PSG and I still have a year of contract.

“Of course, anything can happen. But right now, for as things stand, I exclude my back. I’m good at PSG, we had a fantastic season. The project goes ahead, we are growing every day and I’m not going to go on.

“I repeat, in football anything can happen, but I’m good in Paris.’

Before facing Chelsea in the 2013/14 Champions League, Ibrahimovic said that he had no intention of playing in the Premier League.
