Croatia manager Zlatko Dalic claims England are favourites to lift their first title under the guidance of Gareth Southgate.
The Three Lions staged a brilliant comeback to tame Croatia 2-1 to make it to the finals of the UEFA Nations League. A 57th minute striker from Andrej Kramaraic looked to have secured Croatia’s entry to the last four but Jesse Lingard’s goal at the stroke of the 78 minutes offered a lifeline to the host. Harry Kane then sealed the fight back with a neat finish with five minutes to spare.
Croatia were the better team when the two sides met in the quarter final of the World Cup as Dalic’s team had defeated them by a similar scoreline. England dominated the most part of the game and Dalic thinks the Three Lions can go on and win the title next year.
