Chelsea transfers 2025 – all confirmed Chelsea transfers in and out!

The summer window will eventually close after three months. Chelsea has spent more than £250 million on new players, won the Club World Cup, and recovered more than £275 million since it opened at the beginning of June.

For Enzo Maresca, the past several years have been quite hectic. There has hardly been a boring moment since he led his team to the Conference League championship in May. From attempting to purchase Mike Maignan and Jamie Gittens during the first week of the window to facing backlash for not pursuing deals during the brief break.

After returning from vacation a month later than their competitors, Chelsea won two of their first three games while scoring seven goals and maintaining two clean sheets. The table looks lovely, and there have been five different scorers, including four from the corners.

Chelsea new signings

Liam Delap was our first summer window addition; he came from Ipswich Town. Moreover, Mike Penders, Dario Essugo, and Mamadou Sarr completed their moves from Genk, Sporting Lisbon, and Strasbourg, respectively. The Blues’ team at the Club World Cup included all four.

The Blues won the global championship for the second time thanks to goals in the semi-final and final from Joao Pedro, who was signed mid-tournament along with Jamie Gittens.

The transfer of Estevao Willian from Palmeiras was finalized in early August. From Ajax, Jorrel Hato also arrived. On Saturday, August 30, Alejandro Garnacho moved from Manchester United to the Blues.

Kendry Paez, who turned eighteen this summer, also came from Independiente del Valle. He will join Penders and Sarr at Strasbourg on loan for the duration of the campaign.

Chelsea transfers In 2025 – Arrivals

Joao Pedro (FW, Brighton, £60m): The marquee capture. Pedro’s 22 goals for Brighton last season screamed “Chelsea-ready,” but his instant impact stunned even optimists: a Club World Cup semi-final brace and final goal against PSG.

Jamie Gittens (LW, Dortmund, £52m): Gittens’ 107 Bundesliga games by age 20 made him Europe’s most-coveted winger. His direct dribbling and chance creation (14 assists last term) offer Chelsea something they lost with Madueke’s exit. Expect him to terrorize fullbacks in transition.

Liam Delap (ST, Ipswich, £30m): Finally, Chelsea’s No.9 curse breaker? Delap’s 12 Premier League goals for relegated Ipswich showcased his aerial dominance and relentless pressing. His hold-up play is tailor-made for Maresca’s 4-3-3.

Alejandro Garnacho (LW, Man United, £40): Alejandro Garnacho from Manchester United has officially joined Chelsea. According to sources who spoke to ESPN, Garnacho, 21, has fallen out of favor under Ruben Amorim and is arriving for a set cost of £40 million ($54 million).

Estevao Willian (RW, Palmeiras, £29m): Dubbed “Messinho,” the 18-year-old phenom tormented Chelsea himself at the Club World Cup. His flair, agility, and creativity (26 goals for Palmeiras) evoke Neymar at Santos.

Dario Essugo (CM, Sporting CP, £18.5m): A metronomic passer who anchored Las Palmas’ midfield last season, Essugo offers cover for Enzo Fernandez. His composure under pressure belies his 20 years think Jorginho with more physical upside.

Mamadou Sarr (CB, Strasbourg, £12m): A 6’4” defensive titan who won 75% of aerial duels in Ligue 1. Sarr’s recovery speed lets Chelsea play a high line. With Levi Colwill injury-prone, he’ll challenge Disasi for starts immediately.

Jorrel Hato (LB, Ajax FC, £37): Chelsea has paid £37 million to buy Jorrel Hato, a defender for Ajax. Following a weekend physical in London, the 19-year-old has finalized a seven-year contract with the Blues. The Netherlands international has joined the FIFA Club World Cup winners as their ninth summer transfer acquisition.

New Chelsea Players 2025/26

Here are all new Chelsea signings for the 2025/26 season:

Player Age Signed From Transfer Fee
Joao Pedro 23 Brighton & Hove Albion £60m
Jamie Gittens 20 Borussia Dortmund £52m
Liam Delap 22 Ipswich Town £30m
Alejandro Garnacho 21 Manchester United £40
Jorrel Hato 19 Ajax FC £37
Estevao Willian 18 Palmeiras £29m
Dario Essugo 20 Sporting CP £18.5m
Mamadou Sarr 19 Strasbourg £12m
Kendry Paez 18 Independiente del Valle £17.3m
Mike Penders 19 Genk £17m
Facundo Buonanotte
20 Brighton Loan: £1.73 m

Chelsea transfer Out 2025 – Departures

Noni Madueke (Arsenal, £52m): A polarizing exit. Madueke’s 20 goals in 92 games included clutch Conference League strikes, but inconsistent form frustrated fans. Maresca prioritized tactical discipline something Gittens and Pedro offer more reliably. Arsenal’s gain fuels a direct rival.

Djordje Petrovic (Bournemouth, £25m): Petrovic’s 31-appointment 2023/24 campaign hinted at stability, but Chelsea’s pursuit of Mike Maignan (now postponed) made him expendable.

Kepa Arrizabalaga (Arsenal, £5m): An era ends. Kepa’s £71m 2018 move made him the world’s priciest keeper, but errors plagued him. His emotional farewell message acknowledged “unforgettable memories,” including the 2021 Club World Cup win. Arsenal’s bargain backup deal.

Bashir Humphreys (Burnley, £10m): Academy graduate Humphreys never cemented a starting role despite loan spells. Burnley’s promotion made him a smart, affordable target.

Marcus Bettinelli (Man City, Undisclosed): The veteran third-choice keeper joined City after four years as Chelsea’s emergency cover. His leadership mattered, but Mike Penders’ arrival rendered him obsolete.
