Top 20 highest earning female tennis players
The women tennis players are paid slightly less than their male counterparts. This has been up for debate lately though with the modern push for pay equality for women. However, men have to play the best of five sets while women play the best of three. But the women tennis players listed have still made a very large amount of money over their careers!
Serena Williams tops the list after having made a whopping $84 million over her career. Maria Sharapova is second, but is miles behind Serena Williams. In-fact, Serena Williams has made almost three times the amount Sharapova has earned. Meanwhile, Serena’s older sister (by one year), is third.
The Williams sisters have enjoyed a professional rivalry over the years. Although, they have also teamed up together too by competing in the doubles category. Watch & Bet on Tennis Live =>
