Sime Vrsaljo is part of the fantastic Athletico Madrid defense and is undoutedly one of the finest riight backs in the footballing world in 2023. Sime Vrsaljo was spotted by Athletical boss Diego Simeone at Sassualo in the Italian Serie before joining the Spanish giants.
It was a sound decision, even if the Croatian had to spend the majority of his debut campaign shadowing his older rival. This season has been frustrating with injuries, but he has returned quite brilliantly with three assists in his last four league matches
Despite spending most of his debut season as a bench warmer the Croatian has now established himself as one of the best right backs in football as of 2023.
